Fat Tuesday

Tuesday, February 12, is Fat Tuesday.  We didn't think anyone would come in to make a Mardi Gras card, and not too many people make donut cards, so we thought we'd go with a literal interpretion.  Below are our three Fat Tuesday cards.  Enjoy!

SPRING IS COMING!

It might look like winter out there and it might be 10 degrees, but trust me, spring will be here soon.  Be ready with some cute birds, flowers, dragonflies, and THE SUN.  We have a new Inky Antics board and a selection of new stamps to go with it.

We'd like to greet you as you come in to shop or take a class.  That's our job and we take it very seriously. Besides, we're cute and, admit it, you can't resist us.

IRIS FOLD CLASS

If it's been a while since you've done iris folding or if you've never done it at all, you'll love this class.  Iris folding is easy, trust me. All you have to do is fold and tape and you have a very creative card.  We thought we'd cover three holidays at once with a heart, a shamrock, and an Easter egg.

        STENCIL CLASS

Look at these adorable bunny cards! Using three different stenciling techniques, you will make these three cards in plenty of time for Easter.  Along with the usual class kit (scissors and adhesive), please bring your spatula if you have one.  Hop on in and sign up.

February Calendar

Our schedule for February is complete!  We've got some of your favorite classes and a couple of new ones. Hopefully you'll be able to come to a class or two.

We'll be posting pictures of the samples for these classes as we get them done.  Back by popular demand, we'll have Stamp of the Month Class, Copic Marker classes, a Stencil Class or two, Glitter Card Class, and of course Open Crop and the Double Page Scrapbook Layout.  We'll also be offering an oldie but goodie, Iris Fold Cards.  They're fun and easy, and if you've never done them before or if it's been a while, join us on the 5th.  On Tuesday the 12th, we're offering something new:  FAT TUESDAY.  Since we didn't think anyone would come to make Mardi Gras cards, we're taking the day literally.  Just wait until you see the cards!  You won't want to miss this one.

You can make these three gorgeous Hearts and Flowers glitter cards if you join us on January 22.  Classes are at 10:30 and 6:30 and the cost is $15.

If you love Memory Box Die Cuts (and who doesn't) and you want to use some of the new releases, or if you aren't sure how to make or use die cuts, this class is for you.  Make 3 cards using newly released Memory Box dies. The class is January 29th at 10:30 and 6:30 and the cost is $15.  Call to sign up.

Interested in taking the Stamp of the Month class on Tuesday, January 15?  These are the three adorable cards we'll be making.  The class is at 10:30 am or 6:30 pm.  Cost is $15.

Our Honeycomb Card class features two new cards from Inky Antics and uses the new sherbet pastel honeycomb paper.  Join us on Thursday, January 24 at 10:30 am or 6:30 pm.  The cost of this class is $15.

Saturday January 19 is our monthly Stencil Class.  This month we will be making three beautiful cards featuring Dreamweaver's skating stencil and three different techniques.  Join us at 10:30 am.  The cost is just $20 and you get to keep the stencil.  Call now to sign up for any of our January classes.

              

New Merchandise!!

We will be reopening tomorrow, January 5, for Make-n-Take, and have we got some new merchandise for you!  We have over 100 new Memory Box dies, lots of new papers from Doodlebug, Kaiser and Fancy Pants, new stamps from Memory Box, Lockhart, Inky Antics and Great Impressions, and pastel rainbow honeycomb paper along with new clear HoneyPop stamp sets. Some of our new papers are corrugated or glittered and work with Memory Box dies.  We are ready for the new year and all it has to offer.  Hope to see you tomorrow between 10 and 4.  Just drop in.
